Discussing our future road trip to DC, Sophie remarked, "At the hotel, can I eat the colorful Joe O's? I think I would like them."
Yes, Sophie, you probably would like them. I tried to divert her attention from the colorful Joe O's and suggested that she could share a waffle with me. Not much of an improvement, but I just didn't even want to open that other can of worms.
Frankly, I find it fascinating that to a 3-year-old's mind, having colorful Joe O's is more exciting than staying mere blocks away from the nation's Capitol.
