What to Expect

I think it is indicative of something that when I was trying to look at What to Expect: The Toddler Years this evening to see what we could expect, Sophie was valiantly trying to take possession of the book so that she could devour its secrets and make it her own.

BTW--she scribbles in coloring books, she points, she takes off socks, she has started falling down and howling when she doesn't get her way, she loves to put things in other things and then dump them out, she bangs things together that make loud bang-y noises (especially my measuring cups), she's trying to figure out how to climb the chairs, the dresser, other assorted furniture, she's taken to trying to open the lids on things (the toilet, alas; the garbage can, oy vey!).
