celebrating the 4th

Today Sophie and I went to a swimming pool with some friends. In a somewhat awkward moment, there were a group of Israelis and a group speaking Arabic and Sophie and I bobbing in the water between the two of them. I guess the lovely thing is that we could all hang out in the pool in peace.
