no more crib

Last night it became clear that a crib was no longer going to work for her, so we converted her crib to a bed. I fear for my sleep for the next few nights/weeks/months. I wonder how long she's going to stay in her bed. How long before she can figure out that she get just hop out of bed and wander around? I'm going to give her about 3 or 4 hours.
