The big day is almost here. Tomorrow, we all head back to school. In some ways, I'm looking forward to this, in others (like grading essays), not so much.
Tonight when I told Sophie we were going back to school tomorrow she clapped excitedly. Then she asked if she was going to get to go for the whole day. Yes, I assured her. She was delighted, and so was I.
In so many ways this is a lot easier than one year ago. We were starting new jobs on the same day, I think, that Sophie started a new school--so much to do in one day.
Compared to last year, this is cake.
