Sophie, what are you saying?
Sophie is talking, but we don’t know what she is saying. In an earlier post her dad mentioned she’s picking up Hebrew. The problem, apparently, is that we aren’t learning it fast enough. Today on the way home from school in the car, she wanted something “aya!” This isn’t the first time this word has come up, but this time it was imperative, she really wanted “aya” whatever it is. Later, I looked it up in the dictionary and it suggested falcon or vulture. I don’t think she’s playing with vultures or falcons at school and there definitely was neither in the car. I’m going to have to ask around when I drop her off tomorrow morning.
