Here's a quick list:
--sitting up quite well thank you. (Though we had our first face plant earlier today).
--she knows the bottle by sight. We can tell because she starts to jiggle and hoot enthusiastically.
--whilst sitting, she can bring her legs kind of under her and kind of push up--enough so that we get the idea and help her up the rest of the way. Then she's standing there looking sooooo pleased with herself.
--she likes to be swung back and forth by her arms. She protests when we stop.
--her noises are returning: the razzing, the hooting, the honking, the growling. Now they string together in a cacophony of not-quite-signification. Every now and then she stumbles into a vowel-consonant cluster.
--she only likes to be held facing forward. If you face her backward, she'll wriggle and twist until you give up and turn her around. Oh, and she likes to be held. The stroller is a poor substitute for giving us an upper arm workout.
--she'll laugh out loud for the sheer joy of it. Or to get us laughing--if this is so, it works.
--still pooping like clockwork.
--she goes to sleep easier too. We started a routine. It's amazing that after the bath and into the sleepsack and just thirty seconds into the song what was a wide wide awake girl has transformed into a lolling can't-keep-eyes-open girl.
--she's rolling around right and left quite freely now.
--oh yes, she's quasi-mobile. She doesn't cotton to that face down stuff, so no crawling. But she'll lie on her back and use her feet to scoot her way across the floor.
